For households, small businesses, and enterprises

Turn any plan into a flow that gets finished.

A house build, a client project, a rollout across twenty sites. Lay out the phases once, then follow them step by step so nothing gets skipped.

Document-to-flow is in development. Today you build flows by hand or from a template.

Who it's for

One simple idea, from the kitchen table to the boardroom.

Work that happens in stages goes wrong in the same ways everywhere. A flow fixes it the same way, whatever the size.

Households

The big, once-in-a-while jobs that nobody at home does often enough to remember.

  • Building or renovating. Know what to check before each payment to the contractor.
  • Moving house. Utilities, schools, movers, and address changes in the right order.
  • Planning a wedding or family event. Venue, vendors, invitations, and the final week.
  • Buying a home or a car. Paperwork, inspections, loan steps, and handover.
  • School and college admissions. Deadlines, documents, and follow-ups for each application.
  • Yearly paperwork. Tax filing, insurance renewals, and vehicle servicing.

Example flow

Scope→Order→Strip out→Install→Sign-off

Small businesses

Turn the way your best job ran into the way every job runs — without the owner on site.

  • Deliver every job the same way. One flow per service, started fresh for each client.
  • See where every job stands. Each project shows its current phase and what is left.
  • Onboard clients and staff. No more forgotten contracts, logins, or first-week steps.
  • Rely less on one person. The checks live in the flow, not in someone's head.
  • Get paid at the right moments. Tie deposits and final invoices to phase gates.
  • Improve after every job. Fix the flow once and every future job benefits.

Example flow

Enquiry→Quote→Deliver→Invoice→Follow-up

Enterprises

Run one standard process across many teams and sites, and see which ones are behind.

  • Multi-site rollouts. The same gates at every branch, store, or plant.
  • Vendor and supplier onboarding. Due diligence, contracts, and system access in sequence.
  • Audits and compliance. A repeatable trail of what was checked and when.
  • Standard operating procedures. Share approved flows as templates across the company.
  • Change and release management. Nothing goes live before sign-off.
  • Portfolio view. A console across all projects, with roles and approvals — in development.

Product

From a pile of documents to a plan you can follow.

The hardest part of any plan is getting it out of emails, quotes, and people's heads. That is where we are taking BuildByFlow next.

In development

Describe it. Get a flow.

Write what you are trying to do in plain language — “open a second café by March” — and get a draft flow with phases and steps to edit, instead of a blank page.

In development

Drop in your raw documents.

Quotes, contracts, scope sheets, meeting notes. The details buried in them — tasks, dates, lead times, payment terms — are pulled out and placed in the right phase.

In development

Linked to the real things.

Steps connect to the people, vendors, sites, and invoices they depend on, so “waiting on the electrician” points to an actual person and an actual date.

How it works

Three steps, and you're running.

  1. 1

    Start from what you have

Pick a template, or lay out your own phases and the steps inside each one.

  2. 2

    Run it as a project

Give the project a name. Reuse the same flow for every job, site, or client.

  3. 3

    Proceed phase by phase

Tick off steps, keep notes, and move on only when the phase is really done.

Ready-made templates

Use one as it is, or change it to fit how you work.

Questions, answered.

What is BuildByFlow?+

A tool for running work that happens in stages. You lay out the phases and the steps inside each one — that is a flow — and then follow it for each project, moving to the next phase only when the current one is finished.

Is it free?+

Yes. You can create an account, build flows, and run projects at no cost.

What can I do today, and what is still being built?+

Today you can build flows, start from templates, run projects phase by phase, keep notes, and share flows as templates. AI flow generation, document parsing, linked entities, and the multi-project console are in development and are marked that way on this page.

Is it only for construction?+

No. Construction is a natural fit, but a flow works for any work with stages: product launches, events, client onboarding, hiring, audits, or moving house.

Who can see my flows and projects?+

Only you. Projects and notes are always private. A flow stays private unless you choose to share it as a template.

Do I need to install anything?+

No. It runs in the browser on a phone, tablet, or computer.

Your next project already has a shape. Write it down.

Start with a template and have your first flow running in a couple of minutes.
